BSCI106: Principles of Biology II

The first biology prerequisite we expect students to have. Topics covered include ecology (nutrient cycles, competition dynamics, biodiversity, symbiosis), evolution, genetics, social behavior, origins of life (a progression from study of single celled organisms to plants to animals). The course has a laboratory component which mostly seems to focus on ecology, genetics, and evolution. A more detailed & complete list of topics can be found here.
